The Story of QuizLearn

Built by students, for students.

QuizLearn started when we were year 2 undergraduates. We needed a tool to learn more efficiently for exams.

The Problem

We realized that the existing way of preparing for university exams was inefficient. We were spending too much time preparing study materials and passively reading texts rather than actively practicing.

The Solution

Someone suggested we should pitch the idea to other people, and that's how QuizLearn was born. We set out to build the exact tool that we ourselves would genuinely use.

Our Core Principles

These principles guide everything we build and will be continuously reviewed against the actual QuizLearn product.

Focus on useful content

Study material should help students learn and prepare for exams rather than exist only to increase content volume.

Practice, not passive reading

QuizLearn should encourage active recall, questions, Flashcards, and structured revision.

One learning ecosystem

Questions, Exam Mode, Training Mode, Flashcards, Conspects and progress should work together instead of being disconnected tools.

Built around actual subjects

QuizLearn content should reflect the subjects students actually study.

Continuous improvement

The application should continue improving as new needs, subjects and platforms are added.
